Iterating on the future of product design and health. Since at-home workouts have become ritual to many, how could a rowing machine fit better into this routine? Rowing is one of the most healthy exercises yet still one of the most underlooked.

The light color and material choice takes the mental and physical pressure off of this large machine, contrasting from that currently on the market and blending more into your home. Instead of focusing on numerical goals, the UI emphasizes bite-sized workouts that show the user minimal information, to focus on what is important.

This semester-long project includes opportunity sizing, trend research, competitor analysis, concepting (through sketching, Adobe Illustrator, full-size mock-ups, quick CAD), human factor analysis, low-fi working prototypes, user interface, app concept, and rendering.
